What it is
My first web scraper. A Python script drives Chrome through Selenium, searches Google Maps for a keyword in a location, scrolls the results feed until it stops growing, and saves each business's name, phone, website and address to Postgres, skipping any it already has.
It was a course exercise and the scraping was for learning only. The tool was never used in production.

What I learnt
- My first time scraping a website. I learned how each block of a page's HTML is built, and how to find the fields I needed inside it.
- Every lead went straight into a database rather than a file, which is what made skipping duplicates possible.
What I would do next
A better scraper, though I don't plan to build it.
